ZASO SmartCare
App Permissions
Permissions are requested only when needed for specific features and can be managed in system settings.
1. Bluetooth and Nearby Devices
- Purpose: Discover, connect, provision, bind, and communicate with smart devices.
- Effect of denial: Device discovery, provisioning, or local communication may be unavailable.
2. Location Permission
- Purpose: Android 11 and earlier require location permission for Bluetooth scanning; Android 12 and later use Nearby Devices permission. The current iOS version does not actively request system location permission. We do not continuously track location.
- Effect of denial: Bluetooth scanning or provisioning may be limited on some devices.
3. Notification Permission
- Purpose: Device event reminders, order notices, after-sales progress, and service messages.
- Effect of denial: The App remains usable, but system notifications may not be received.
4. Camera Permission
- Purpose: Scan device, referral, promotion, or other business QR codes.
- Effect of denial: Scanning is unavailable; supported pages may allow manual code entry.
5. Photos, Images, and Videos
- Purpose: Only when you actively select a file, upload posts, videos, after-sales evidence, feedback material, or profile images. Platforms supporting a system media picker do not grant continuous access to the entire library.
- Effect of denial: Local media selection and related uploads may be unavailable.
6. Network Permission
- Purpose: Account login, device synchronization, content, store orders, payments, after-sales support, push messages, and customer support.
- Effect of denial: Main online features cannot operate normally.
